Adult Beginner Tap – Canterbury Studio

Adult Beginner Tap – Canterbury Studio

Our eight-week beginner’s course is a great introduction to Theatrical Tap.

This course is perfect for total beginners, or anyone who wants a solid foundation to their Tap Dancing. You will learn about tap technique, rhythmic and musical patterns, foot patterns as well as tonal quality. We will work these into combos which we will practice together, and connect these combos into one BIG sequence by the end of the course. You will also learn how to stylise your tap techniques with body movement, so you can groove and tap in a theatrical musical style!

Each week we teach the basic fundamentals and techniques whilst having great fun! Everyone is welcome!
